ADDICT CLOTHES JAPAN

We originally started business as a British vintage motorcycle jacket speciality shop.
Over the years we have been fascinated and heavily influenced by old British jackets with their thick but light sheepskin, modern shapes and wide variety of colours.

We have sold an incredible number of jackets and I'm also collectors ourselves.
However all of these jackets that fascinated me so deeply were of course made by someone else in the past.
In the course of selling these countless jackets, at some point the desire to produce my own ideal jacket emerged.
This ideal jacket would be my very own complete custom-made item and we would be particular about every detail - from the leather and the lining, down to the zips and buckles.

I have own many vintage jackets and have also built up a great deal of knowledge.
I decided that I had to start by producing some special leather that would age in the same way as vintage material and also that I would need to make all of our own zips.
Unfortunately I discovered that my ideal kind of zips, which are characteristic of old British jackets, were nowhere to be found among the ready-made products available internationally.
Therefore I realized that I'm not only had to create my own pulls for the zips but also plain square end boxes to match.

I was also particularly aware of the fact that the rich vintage feel of many jackets is not only due to them having been worn for many years but also because of changes brought about by exposure to the sun.
These changes are most apparent with the zip's cotton tape and there is a clear colour difference between parts that are easily exposed to sunlight and those that aren't.
Because of this when creating our jackets we change the colour of different areas of the zip tape and construct them so that they not only look good when new, but as the years pass and everything else like the leather and the metal parts also age, a truly complete jacket comes into being.

I have been influenced by many VINTAGE products, They are condensed with the feelings of the creators of the good old days, and they have become more attractive as time goes by.
This is because it is completely different from the ones made for easy consumption.
Make something like VINTAGE that will be passed down to many owners for a long time.
I hope that customers will enjoy my products just as I was absorbed in VINTAGE.

ACVM

I was more into the British vintage biker jacket than anyone else, and I saw and wore many jackets and made more.
At first, I made a T-shirt or hoodie with a length that fits my jacket,
The waxed cotton jacket, which has been a favorite and sold since the vintage shop era, is just like a leather jacket.
I carefully resolved my dissatisfaction one by one and increased my wardrobe.
And the knowledge of leather gained at ADDICT CLOTHES JAPAN, the interest in textile products,
and the clothes of other vintage categories that I was originally interested in,
To further express these, we launched the ACVM brand.

While leaving a little biker taste, add essence such as military and work,
We aim to create simple and comfortable everyday wear with a classic feel and vintage scent.

Just like when I first opened the store or when I launched ADDICT CLOTHES JAPAN
I want our customers to enjoy our products while creating the best wardrobe for ourselves.

ADDICT BOOTS

In 2010, I started making engineer boots for myself.
First, I made a characteristic last on the toes, and I have sold a lot of boots so far.
Originally I specialized in biker jackets, but in the process of making boots for many years, I felt the fun and excitement similar to biker jackets in making boots.
Not to mention the work of searching for leather that suits the purpose and sometimes making it.
A pair of boots is completed by combining the fit that changes just by cutting a few millimeters of the last, the texture and color of the hardware, the shape and design of the sole, and the combination of colors.

As I had a close look at the high level of sewing skills and leather processing skills in Japan, experienced its splendor, and developed a collection that expressed myself with a leather jacket.
I've come to want to do the same with boots.

I didn't wear tough and too rugged work boots or biker boots for a long time, but dress shoes and boots that are too elegant are a little embarrassing.
Based on my own experience, even if I make tough materials and production processes, but also makes American design with modern forms and silhouettes, for example.
I would like to create boots that give you a feeling of European elegance.
